I have been asked many times how to date a Ukraine girl. My dating advice about dating a Ukraine girl is simple. But first, you have to be in Ukraine. How can you date a girl from a foreign country if you are not there?? My advice is, go to Ukraine! Men ask me all the time what it is I do. Why Ukrainian, Russian, or post-USSR women desire to marry foreign men
The short answer: Because they are indoctrinated that they NEED a husband to be happy, and they cannot find a husband at home.
The whole cultural notion in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus is: A woman’s happiness is in her family. She is not supposed to feel fulfilled making a career or pursuing her creative passions, but only once she is married with children. Politically, this approach allows the male minority to keep the female majority under control, restricting respectable women’s interests to household duties and self-maintenance (keeping themselves looking beautiful for their husbands). Females are underrepresented in governing bodies, with male chauvinism being an officially acceptable social attitude.

Single women are constantly told by people around them that they should find a husband. Even if they do not want one, they have relentlessly pointed out that their social value is low because they haven’t managed to snag a man.

• By the age of 22, a woman is considered deficient if she is not married.
• By the age of 25, a woman giving birth to her first child is considered “an old mother” in the official medical terms.
• By the age of 30, a woman is considered a spinster.

The cultural and social standard for women in Russia and Ukraine is to find a man to marry, and then bear children and take care of her family. A man is expected to provide for the family. Even if a woman is educated and has a great career, she feels deficient not having a husband, as she is living in a society that looks down upon unmarried women over a certain age. Women are taught that anything goes to get a husband, and many believe that they have to hide their intelligence, talents, and abilities and try not to earn too much money, or they will not find a husband or won’t be able to keep one, because he will feel insecure if she is smarter or earns more money than him.

In a way, marriage to a foreigner is a step to a greater freedom, which allows a Russian or Ukrainian woman to escape this restrictive social structure and develop her abilities and talents, even though her primary motivation in seeking a partner abroad is to realize herself as a wife and a mother, and not to build a professional career.

How demographics contribute to the situation

Demographically, from about the age of 30, there are more women than men. Total males to females ratio are 86/100 in Russia and 85/100 in Ukraine. You don’t need to be an expert to see why it’s hard for a woman who hasn’t found a partner by the age of 30 to get married.

One of the prevalent reasons for early deaths in men is alcohol abuse, causing fatal accidents and health issues. An average life expectancy is only 62 years for Russian males, and 63 years for Ukrainian males.
In comparison:

Compared to figures from 10 years ago, life expectancy in males decreased in both Russia and Ukraine, and the overall sex ratio imbalances increased. It’s not getting easier for Russian and Ukrainian women to fulfill their Destiny. The whole article here

This article was a culmination of a few different couples these are only opinions. I do disagree with the comment about and I quote.

“many believe that they have to hide their intelligence, talents, and abilities and try not to earn too much money, or they will not find a husband ” I have not once heard this from Ukraine women or girls. But I have heard Ukraine men do not want to marry a woman with a low paying job.

A teacher or a doctor and the worst is a food server. These are very low paying jobs, and I am sure that is why I have met so many single teachers. In Ukraine some men expect their women to work and also take care of the family. I do strongly agree that most Ukraine women feel the need to find a man a marry.

 As desperate as it may seem in Ukraine that these single women are looking for a man they will not take just any man.

They want a real man a man that is confident brave and will care and love her. As easy as it can be to date single women it is not that easy to bring them to a new country. Although it does happen where a man meets a woman they spend a week together. She applies for a visa, and they are married in a few months. It is a great thing when two people fall in love They both know it is real and what they want and need in life. And yes the few couples that I know did this are still happily married.

So what do Ukraine women want, what are they looking for in a man? Is it money is it to leave their country? Or is it as simple as find a man to love and trust?

Through my years in Ukraine dating many different women I know it is true they want to be happy. What is happiness for them a loving husband a place to raise their children a man that will not harm them? It might seem a bit hard to understand they do not want much. Being from a society in America where so many women want a career a big house fancy car someone to support them financially.

To know and hear what Ukraine women want seems simple, most American men can be this man. You have to understand Ukraine women are not so forgiving if you lose their trust it is over. If you show you are not dependable at the beginning of the relationship. It will only get worse as time goes by.
